About me

Hello!

I am a mental health professional and trained clinical supervisor with 10 years of experience in the field of applied psychology and mental well-being. I hold a doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (USA) and a social justice post-doctoral fellowship from the University of Delaware (USA). I hold a Master’s degree from SNDT Women’s University (Mumbai) and a Bachelor’s degree from Fergusson College (Pune). I am an Indian, raised in multiple cities across the country, currently based in the cosmopolitan, financial capital – Mumbai.

I have lived and worked in diverse cultural spaces in India and the US. My work reflects a blend of sensitivity to people holding diverse identities and their individual narratives. Each person brings with them a unique set of strengths, abilities and motivations, partially driven by their context. In my work, I honour both the individual and the varied contextual factors that have influenced them such as early childhood, family relationships, sociocultural experiences, and systemic forces.

My Values

Ethical Care

I ensure a private, confidential space, aimed at serving an individual’s best interest and highest benefit.

Sensitive to Diversity

My approach is needs-based, catering to individuals’ diverse identities and unique narratives.

Person-Centered

I offer a space where individuals feel heard, respected and understood. Our relationship is central to the work I do.

Lifelong Learner

I strive to consistently better myself through continuing education in order to best serve individuals, groups and communities.
